Our PickSet feature was developed to address the requests of our customers. Many players wrote us that they'd like to play more than 1 set of picks, even within a given pool. Hence, our PickSet feature.
Keep in mind that while we've enhanced the functionality of our web site, and added more utility to our already robust feature set, it doesn't come without its price. You guessed it, the price you'll pay is just a little bit more complexity, so pay close attention to these instructions.
When you join a new pool, you'll be given the option of choosing which "PICKSET" to use in this particular pool membership (1 - default, 2, or 3). Upon successful completion of the Join Pool process, you are then a member of that pool WITH THAT PICKSET. You may use each PickSet once, either in multiple pools, or in the same pool, for a given league/season.
When using multiple PickSets in the same pool you're basically playing multiple 'cards' in the same game. Your pool administrator should effectively treat your multiple pick sets as separate players in their pool. After all, if you play multiple BINGO cards, you PAY for each card.
The concept of the PICKSET then carries through to a significant portion of our web site, since making picks (predictions) for the events is the intergral component of playing in an office pool. For example, when MAKING your picks, you'll be prompted with which PICKSET is in effect, and if you are registered in the pool with multiple PICKSETs, you'll be given an option to switch to a different PICKSET.
